2024-10-29

On October 24, at the 6th Gasgoo Awards Ceremony in Shanghai, Calterah’s radar basic software based on cybersecurity was honored with the 2024 Gasgoo Award for Best Technical Practice. Designed based on the capabilities of Calterah's Alps-Pro series of radar SoCs, this software integrates comprehensive demo solutions and fulfills essential development requirements, including functional safety, cybersecurity, Automotive Open System Architecture (AUTOSAR), and platformization, which empowers customers to create more versatile and competitive radar products.

Minnan Zheng, Director of Firmware from Calterah, accepted the award and shared insights into how Calterah integrates automotive standards in areas like requirements, design, testing, management, and delivery at the Automotive and Environmental Innovation Forum. Calterah has been deeply invested in automotive-grade chip and software development over the years, achieving ASPICE CL1 certification in 2022 and CL2 certification in 2023. "This year, we've advanced our testing systems and expect to attain TMMi* Level 4 certification in Q1 next year," stated Zheng.

In 2024, Calterah initiated new chip projects integrating ASPICE CL3 standards with ISO 26262 for functional safety, ISO 21434 for cybersecurity, AUTOSAR, and SecDevOps principles. The project has successfully passed comprehensive internal and external quality audits.

Looking forward, Calterah’s radar SoC software will continue to evolve rapidly, with modular and customizable features, to cover comprehensively all Calterah automotive radar chip platforms. This helps to provide high-quality support and reference solutions for customers to facilitate the development of competitive radar products, contributing to the advancement of intelligent vehicles.
