The International Wireless Industry Consortium (IWPC) organized a face-to-face interactive workshop, themed Automotive Sensor Architecture, in Munich from May 31st to June 1st local time. Calterah was invited and delivered a speech titled “SoCs Used in Edge Radar and Satellite Radar”. At this event hosted by BMW, renowned global OEMs, top Tier-1s, and companies in the upstream IC supply chain gathered, focusing on automotive sensor architecture, to explore the pros and cons of centralized and distributed architectures for ADAS in the dynamic landscape of rapidly advancing autonomous driving. With the continuous development of autonomous driving, the collaborative performance of sensors plays a crucial role in ensuring vehicle safety. Multi-sensor architectures can help reduce the perception limitation and uncertainty of individual sensors based on the information gathered from different sensors, thus forming a more comprehensive perception of the environment or targets, which helps to optimize the all-around performance of multi-modal perception systems. During the speech, Zheng Wang, Calterah Automotive Product Line Director, stated that as the radar typology evolves from distributed ECU to domain controller and centralized computing architecture, a multi-sensor architecture is required to jointly sense the environment with a Central Computing Unit to make comprehensive judgments and coordinate operations.……

On April 26, 2001, World Intellectual Property Day was initiated by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), to foster the awareness of “respecting knowledge, advocating science, and protecting intellectual property” worldwide and to create a favorable legal environment for knowledge innovation and IP protection. Committed to the mission to “Make Millimeter-Wave Serve Everyone”, IP and innovation have long been the lifeblood of Calterah. As of April 14, 2023, Calterah has filed over 500 IP applications, covering patents, trademarks, copyrights, integrated circuit layout designs, etc. In particular, patent applications worldwide have amounted to over 300, including 200 or so patents filed in China and more than 50 overseas patents filed in Europe, the U.S., Japan, South Korea, etc. What is intellectual property? Intellectual property (IP) rights refer to the exclusive rights that the owner is entitled to by law for the creation resulting from their intellectual labor and the marks and reputation in their business activities. Intellectual property includes patents, trademarks, copyright, service marks, trade names, the appellation of origin, plant variety rights, proprietary rights to integrated circuit layout designs, etc. Women driving technological progress and innovation In 1960, Xia Peisu developed China’s first electronic computer and wrote the country’s……

Earth Hour is an energy-saving movement initiated by the WWF against global climate change. It calls for individuals, communities, businesses, and governments to turn off non-essential electric lights and home appliances for an hour, at 20:30 local time on the last Saturday of every March (Mar. 25 for 2023), to show support for the planet and to raise awareness of environmental issues. The world’s first Earth Hour began on Saturday, 31 March 2007 in Sydney, Australia, and has now grown into the largest global environmental movement that enjoys enthusiastic participation. This year, Earth Hour is given a greater purpose, uniting the power of participants from all walks of life for “The Biggest Hour for Earth” and pushing for changes to secure a brighter future for mankind and the planet. Green Week of Calterah-ers In response to the 2023 theme “Give an Hour for Earth”, Calterah launched the Green Week event from Mar. 20 to 26. The four sites of Calterah, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, and Suzhou offices designed a series of activities, online and offline, to engage indoor and outdoor participation of Calterah-ers, in an effort to raise awareness and encourage green behaviors for environmental protection.   Calterah Green Week started……
