Established in 2014, Calterah Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd has grown into a global leader in designing and developing CMOS single-chip millimetre-wave radar sensors. Proud to have a constellation of experts in RF mmWave circuit design, radar system algorithms engineering, large-scale integrated digital circuit realization, high frequency antenna design and mass production operation of automotive-grade chips, Calterah in 2017 mass-produced world’s first CMOS 77/79-GHz mmWave RF front-end radar-on-chip for automotive use, and soon took the lead to break into the automotive original market. As the rapid development of auto driving and advanced driver assistance technologies drives a shift towards the mmWave radar modules that are easier to use, more compact yet with strong performance, we bring about SoC products with radar signal processing baseband, which fully innovate the development and implementation of mmWave radar sensors. Furthermore, our Antenna-in-Package technology reduces antenna design and use of high frequency PCB by integrating antenna array within the chip package, which substantially cuts short the R&D and manufacturing cycle of radar modules and thus accelerates the general applications of mmWave radar in auto and other markets.
Adhering to automotive-grade reliability and safety, Calterah has been certified to ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard and ISO 26262 Functional Safety standard. Our products meet the reliability requirements of AEC-Q100 qualification, and the SoC products containing computing units, in particular, reach automotive safety integrity level-B (ASIL-B).
As mmWave radar sensors begin to see more applications in industrial and consumer fields with the advantages in accuracy, reliability and contactlessness, Calterah rolles out the 60-GHz portofolio, including 60-GHz RF front-end, 60-GHz SoC and 60-GHz SoC AiP products, offering more choices and options to customers. When it comes to commonly desired applications such as precision measurment, personnel monitoring and gesture recognition, Calterah’s reference designs and solutions are also readily available, greatly lowering the threshold to the development of mmWave radar systems.
