Calterah Invited to Intelligent Vehicle Millimeter Wave Radar Innovation Technology Forum and Delivers a Speech

2021-09-14

On Sep. 10, the Intelligent Vehicle Millimeter Wave Radar Innovation Technology Forum organized by China Polaris was held in Shanghai. The forum aims to provide industry colleagues with a highly professional and targeted communication platform to discuss hot topics such as the trend of mmWave radar and technical difficulties, so as to bring better solutions for automotive mmWave radar. Calterah was invited to deliver a speech on its latest mmWave radar solutions.

Calterah’s Business Development Supervisor Gao Shaojie reviewed mmWave radar technological development and breakthroughs at the event. Dedicated to the development and design of CMOS mmWave radar ICs, Calterah mass-produced the world’s first auto-grade CMOS 77-/79-GHz mmWave radar RF front-end chip in 2017 and soon took the lead to roll out baseband-integrated radar SoCs and the Antenna-in-Package technology in 2019, offering the market safer and smarter mmWave radar chips.

With the commitment to be the world’s best fabless of mmWave radar chips, Calterah is also growing into an excellent provider of mmWave radar solutions. In recent years, Calterah has made continuous breakthroughs in radar applications and solutions. Its AiP-based automotive radar solutions for ADAS features of BSD, DOW, and APA and DMS have been adopted by auto makers for models to be mass-produced as early as next year. The company is also expanding into the industrial application market and has achieved major progress in security and surveillance, smart transport, and smart home. In her presentation, Gao Shaojie also demonstrated four applications powered by AiP chips, which was widely recognized.

Going forward, Calterah will strengthen its cooperation and deepen exchanges with upstream and downstream enterprises and explore further into the mmWave radar market. By providing complete reference designs and solutions for clients and lowering the threshold and cost for mmWave radar module development, Calterah promises to “Make Millimeter-Wave Serve Everyone”.
