Earth Hour is an energy-saving movement initiated by the WWF against global climate change. It calls for individuals, communities, businesses, and governments to turn off non-essential electric lights and home appliances for an hour, at 20:30 local time on the last Saturday of every March (Mar. 25 for 2023), to show support for the planet and to raise awareness of environmental issues. From Mar. 22 to 24, CareTEX 2023, the largest B2B trade fair in the eldercare industry in Japan, was held at Tokyo Big Sight. Calterah brought its industrial-grade mmWave radar SoCs, together with Calterah-inside end-use senior care sensor products and radar modules from its ecosystem partners, to the exhibition, where in-depth exchanges between Calterah and the eldercare industry players and professionals from Asia and the rest of the world were conducted.
