About This Position: The Business Development Manager will be driving growth and strategic adoption of Calterah System on Chip (SoC) solutions for UWB and Radar by identifying market opportunities, securing design-wins with automotive OEMs and Tier-1s, and leading Calterah customer engagements through the product lifecycle. The role combines technical understanding, commercial strategy, and cross-functional collaboration within the Calterah organization. The successful candidate will grow the adoption of Calterah SoC products in UWB and Radar in emerging automotive segments (ADAS, Comfort, Security and Safety for software-defined vehicles). She or he will work with OEMs, Tier-1s, Partners and Calterah internal stakeholders, to enable design-wins with key automotive OEMs and Tier-1 customers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning for automotive SoC products
  • Develop and execute business plans aligned with company goals, focusing on revenue growth, design-wins, and ecosystem expansion
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, system integrators, and key partners
  • Lead commercial discussions, translating customer requirements into compelling SoC value propositions and design-in opportunities
  • Negotiating contractual and commercial terms with customers
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, to align market needs with the product roadmap
  • Represent Calterah and its products & services at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and technical seminars
  • Prepare and present business reviews, and competitive insights
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, track key milestones, and provide revenue and design-win forecasts
  • Track the business performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in semiconductor business development or technical sales, ideally with exposure to automotive SoCs, microcontrollers, or embedded processing products is preferred
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor technologies (SoC architecture, IP, ASIL/functional safety, automotive standards)
  • Proven ability to drive design-wins and manage complex sales cycles with technical decision makers and C-level executives 
  • Self-driven, strong negotiation, presentation, and multi-culture and efficient communication skills
  • Ability to travel in Europe and potentially globally to engage with customers and partners
