In a recent episode of Electronic Specifier Insights, our EMEA Managing Director Peter Wiese discusses Calterah's journey from a strong market presence in China to its expansion in Europe, and how innovation is reflected in our IP capabilities and product design.
The conversation highlights two key technology areas. On mmWave radar, Peter explores advances in radar perception from two perspectives: Calterah's 6T6R architecture, designed to achieve performance comparable to 8T8R solutions with fewer channels through strong RF performance and efficient signal processing; and the move from 3D to 4D radar, where elevation information adds another dimension to environmental perception. When it comes to UWB, he also explains its primary role in secure ranging for applications such as digital keys, and how it extends into radar sensing.
